Main Purpose:

Impala Terminals Group facilitates the global trade of commodities by offering producers and consumers reliable and efficient access to international markets. Through its network of 30 strategically located assets and operations in 20 countries, Impala provides critical storage and logistics infrastructure services to energy and dry bulk customers around the world. The company manages two global businesses โ€“ Impala Energy Infrastructure and Impala Dry Bulk & Logistics - and is a joint venture between one of the worldโ€™s largest commodity trading houses, Trafigura, and the global fund manager, IFM Investors.
ITG is a Joint-Ventures between Trafigura and IFM investment fund, owning and operating various assets such as ports, terminals and multimodal logistics assets chains in export driven emerging markets for both liquid and dry cargo. It operates as well several assets (owned by Trafigura) under a management service.
This is an outstanding opportunity as a Maintenance Millwright, where you will have a meaningful role in ensuring the detailed operation and maintenance of our equipment and infrastructure. Your work will be vital in maintaining our world-class standards and supporting our ambitious growth goals.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, repair, install, maintain, adjust, and align equipment, machinery, and conveyor components daily.

Coordinate job assignments and tasks under supervisorโ€™s direction to ensure operational integrity.

Perform regular maintenance and repair task on terminal equipment.

Repair & troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors.

Collaborate with team members to successfully implement maintenance schedules and strategies.

Comprehend and execute precision job plans for critical work orders and equipment repairs.

Experience in arc welding and oxygen/acetylene cutting.

Complete data entry for record keeping and documentation.

Contribute to growth, learning opportunities, and cross-training in role.

Contribute knowledge and share personal experience for mutual development among team members.

Ability to work over the water, in all weather conditions, at extreme heights.

Ability to use precision job tools to include but not limited to torque wrench and laser alignment tools.

Adhere to all terminal policies and procedures and all local, state, and federal regulatory agency requirements.

Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

Compliance Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security:

Report all Accidents, Incidents, and Near Misses timely to management.

Adhere to all Terminal HSEC/Security protocol.

Ensure all emergency equipment is operational.

Report any unusual or suspicious activity.

Successfully complete a pre-employment physical.

Capable of receiving T.W.I.C. credentials.

Complete all required annual training.

Attend all scheduled pre-shift safety meetings.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience Knowledge Skills:

Have a minimum of 5 years proven experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.

Proficient in the English language.

Experience using CMMS and operational systems.

Have experience working with rotating equipment and conveyor systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Outstanding work ethic.
